  • ANANDAM KIDS SCHOOL At A GLANCE

         Anandam School is a unit of Institute of complementary medicine & Research Trust (ICMR trust), national nonprofit making charitable trust working for development of complementary and integrated medicine in koraput through education and health care. The school was started as school for Kids, so it’s famous as ANANDAM KIDS SCHOOL. It is recognized by Government of Odisha, Department of Education. It follows the RTE Act, RCFEC Rule 2010 of the Government. The school is in network of Global Association of Neohumanstic Education, educating thousands of children every year in world wide.
    The early year’s foundation frameworks set the standards for learning, development and care for children from birth to age fifteen. We focusing the four themes of the EYFS are: A Unique Child, Positive Relationship, Enabling Environments and Learning. So our school enters the children from 3+ years onwards and entry level class from KG I onwards. We follow the Indian culture with universal outlook. The medium of instruction is odiya.But school follows from the foundation class with English and Hindi along with Odiya to all the students for universal outlook. The school offers residential facility (ancient Indian Gurukul system) and treats the children as their home.

    The School is located at DUMURIPUT Village around 800 meters distance from NH 26 on the Sunabeda-Koraput high way, 12 KMs from District Head quarter Koraput, 6 Kms from HAL township Sunabeda & Central University of Odisha and 12 Kms from NALCO Township Damanjodi.The nearest local Railway Station is Dumuriput.It has its own campus of 15,900 square foot area with pollution free green campus. The buildings are roofed with GI sheet, which covers mud tiles and gives natural air condition to our campus. The atmosphere is very pleasant here. The summer temperature is around 25 degree maximum and winter around 18 degree.

    About Koraput :

    Koraput district in the southern part of Odisha, adjoining the Bastar district of Chhattisgarh and Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh. It is about 500kms from the State Capital Bhubaneswar, about 200kms from Visakhapatnam and about 500kms from Raipur by road. It is also well connected to these cities by railways. The nearest air port is Visakhapatnam (A.P.).
